Formed in 1948

The Purpose and Mission of the Cass County Humane Society (Pets R Us) shall be the prevention of suffering, neglect, and cruelty to animals.  In order to perform its mission, the task of the CCHS shall include the following:

• To provide humane care and treatment for animals needing protection in Cass County, Indiana

• To assist in returning animals to their owners

• To seek suitable homes for animals without owners

• To develop a program of humane education

• To develop a program of volunteers
